Lawton MI | After just reading a piece on water pumps going south in 7.6 John Deere engines it got me thinking about the combine we bought last fall. 1990 9600 which has the 7.6 engine and it has about 4500 hours. We bought it from our local Deere dealer but I have no idea of its previous history as it came from another state. So I guess the big question is even though it shows no signs of leaking should we put a new water pump in, how difficult is that job, and about what does it cost? Thanks in advance. | |
