West Central Indiana | We have a 1939 Farmall H and a 1952 Super M. I've always wanted an older plow and would like to get one that was made about the same era as the tractors. Looks like the Little Genius plows were made in that time. Thought I wanted a trip plow because I don't have hydraulics on the H. The Super M does have hydraulics. My 86 year old grandpa was telling me there wasn't much good about the good old days with a steel wheel trip plow in slick conditions with rocks. I saw that a # 60 plow has reset bottoms. Are they all hydraulic lift as well? Just curious what plow you guys would recommend to get to plow 1 or 2 gardens a year and to park in the shed with the H and M. Not planning on doing big acreage! If it doesn't work for the garden I may paint it and display it at the entrance to the farm. Thanks for any advice! | |
