Subject: 8830 Ford power shift

western Ky
I just bought a 8830 Ford (6000 hr)that needed some seals and PTO brake replaced. I have the tractor torn down and found that the torque clutch has been replaced and the input shaft and gear splines have over 50% of splines worn. The tractor shifts a little hard on up shifts. I checked most pressures at the test ports and they are good .I calibrated the trans and F1-81, F2-91 ,R-85. Will the hard up shift cause the splines to ware, anything mechanical inside the power shift to cause hard up shift? I trying to decide if I need to split the power shift . Thanks
