| We are trying to diagnose an air conditioning issue on a 2012 NH SP365F sprayer. It has the old style cab so it’s basically the same cab as a 9600 JD or a 854 Rogator.
We can’t get any power to the air conditioning compressor clutch.
We are getting power to the high switch on the receiver dryer. That switch is closed and letting power flow through it.
We aren’t getting power at the low pressure switch by the expansion valve. That switch is also closed and would allow power to flow through it if it was getting power.
We are not getting any power at the clutch.
We replaced the compressor because the old one seized up. The clutch had signs of heating up enough to melt the plastic on the locking nut in the middle so I suspect that it may have enough damage to have a dead short and blown a fuse.
We found 2 different fuse panels with an assortment of fuses, relays, and the one circuit breaker. We checked all of the fuses and they are good. The circuit breaker has continuity through it also. There is nothing in either of those two panels marked as being for the climate control system. One of the panels we found is in the lower right hand cab corner. The other is a fairly large box under the engine bay. As I mentioned, nothing in either of those panels is labeled as anything to do with the climate control system.
Are we missing a fuse panel somewhere? Is there an inline fuse? Could there be any other cause of our issue that I haven’t thought of? | |
