Schlegel Farms, Hagerstown Indiana | I got a bill from Airgas for cutting torch tanks. I have had tanks for years, going back to the late 70s or early 80s, that I thought I owned. I have not paid a rental fee over the years.
The local store where I got them originally has changed hands a couple of times over the years and is now owned by Airgas.
I have no paperwork going back that far, which I guess is on me.
The thing is, the bill is for $254 for one year; that seems pretty steep.
I have retired and don't use the torch nearly as much as when I farmed, but like having it around.
As I said, I've not paid rent, but does $254 a year seem high for two tanks, or is it just me? |
