Would you leave your land to somewhat ungrateful kids with ungrateful spouses who have no interest in farming and will probably immediately sell it or will you cash it out and have a nicer retirement than you would have had otherwise? I know this sounds harsh but they would probably still end up with a nice inheritance just not millions.
