Subject: Monitor Configuration in a Sound Guard cab

Huntington, IN
We are getting ready to add a Precision 20/20 and Fieldview to our planter. This system is going in a 4450 so cab space is limited. The tractor already has a CFX-750 and Ez-Pilot for the steering so there is already plenty of wire to deal with. I would like to know what others have done with these monitors to minimize the space they take up and make the wires as clean as possible. My thought is to put a RAM mount on the corner post above the shifter and mount the Precision Planting equipment there so the line of sight is good to see the screen but it is also not taking up a bunch of window space. Has anyone done this with success? I know the post is pretty thick stuff so drilling and tapping might be an issue. I would love to see what others have done.
