Subject: John Deere corn head on newer (flagship) Case IH combines

Strasburg North Dakota
Looking for a inexpensive corn head to put on our 7010. Have found several fair priced 893 john deeres and wondering how it would be to mount one on the 7010. How much cutting is required? Will the head ever be able to be used on a John Deere again? Has anyone done this before? Looks alot easier to make one of them work than one of our 1083s. Pics would be a great help thanks.
