| Doing some research on these Air Max Precision2 dry air flow box machines, everyone says the same thing that maintenance cost is high. We are just looking for a farm machine, few thousand acres a year so nothing crazy so I don't see why a used machine like this wouldn't be sufficient. New spreader boxes are far from cheap.
I know some like spreaders and others like the air machines, to each their own. They both will obviously do a good job when ran correctly.
I see used machines sell for next to nothing, what is considered a lot of hours on these machines, 3000, 5000, 10000? Before your looking at things being very worn out? What are the parts to watch & check on these machines for wear/needing replacement? Any other general information to know about them would be appreciated TIA | |
