The parking brake quit working on the 4840. I slipped the shifter into park position when it was barely rolling and something clicked. Didn't sound to serious but now the trans will not lock in park. The shift linkage looks to be OK. Is there something in the transmission that could be damaged? Can someone tell me where to start looking for the problem?
