Went into our newly explained hardware store today wanting cable stops. Nothing. They didn't even know what I was asking for. These were 40 year old men. Now if I wanted to buy cowboy boots, $100 each work pants, a go-cart, horse feed, chain saws, etc. I would have found what I wanted. BUT A HARDWARE ITEM, NO. I had to go to a heavy duty truck shop and find my cable stops in their lawnmower supply board. Grumpy old men should just stay home I guess. Nut and bolt supply area was about 15 ft long and 4 ft high. That was it!!! At least the price was right. $1.35 for the 2 parts I wanted. A steel. Hardware would be $3 each.
