Sw Mo | Got to 24 degrees here this morning. This particular field was conventional tillage and about 1/4" from spiking through. Temp was at seed at about 2 1/4" deep. Majority of acres are strip tilled and check one of those fields and was couple degrees warmer.
Temp was checked at 8:00 am, top 1/2" or so was frozen crust. Not sure how long seed would have been at this temp as the sun was shining bright and turned into a very nice day.
