Subject: JD 7000 Winter project

Central WI

Almost got the planter ready to go with the new upgrades. Just waiting on a few cables from agleader and a seed tube monitor module.

Scratch built hyd drive controlled by an Integra. Fertilizer is still tied to seed rate, plan is next winter to split that off on its own drive or maybe do a centrifugal pump type deal. When planting soybeans I can take the interconnect shaft out between the 2 transmissions. For now though I have it geared that at 36k seed/acre the fert chart is right, and can change the fert trans for diff seed rates to bring it back to where needed.

I may machine up a finer tooth tach wheel yet, will see how it works. Rest of planter is Pequea fert openers and frame mount no til coulters. Row cleaners, custom long length parallel arms and trying out curvetine, spike combo this year for closers, but also have some shop built posiclose wheels and another set of spikes for diff field conditions
