Subject: 7.6L 8100 jd tractor overheat?

NC Iowa
Edit to add. 7.6 engine.
Was told may be thermostat too.

my 8100 overheated today hauling 2 wagons across the field in soft ground. i stopped and switched trctors. i not sure if i lugged it too much or something else is going on. coolant full. fan seems to be turning ok but not sure if fan clutch gives issues.

i run it in the field, but no big load, after i got it home and the temps were 175 top, and 150 bottom of radiator. temp gauge was just a little over halfway. i also got a ecu 41 code too, but it went away on a restart. tractor has never overheated for me before. i want to haul corn to town but dont want to be shut down on the highway. is there anything i can check.
