South cental Ohio | I guess being 66 is starting to catch up with me. Getting off the Bobcat Sunday and fell (some how). Down I went and hit the ground, laid there a minute and noticed my right foot didn't feel quite right. So after a trip to the Health Care place and some x-rays, yep....broken ankle :-( . Went to the specialist yesterday and he said that the broken bone is lined up good enough that just wearing a plastic, blowup walking boot should allow it to heal itself. OK....you're the doctor!!! The way I get it, there are 2 bones that go to your ankle, I broke the smaller one on the outside of my foot. Any of you guys got any advice on how to get back to snuff as soon as possible? I have NEVER been one to rely on others for help and it's hard for me to even have my brother come over and take care of the cows.... let alone all the spring planting preparations that need done. I will say that this is by far the most painful injury that I have ever had, | |
