Subject: Two manure hauling questions

Kingdom of Callaway - Fulton, Mo 65251
1. I have a friend 5.2 miles away on a blacktop road that will sell me his stockpiled beef cattle manure for $40 per load. I will furnish loader and haul with a Jet side dump trailer. There are a lot of loads. It has been piled in large piles for 6 months and is dry.

2. Neighbor with piggies has a barn 14 miles away that he wants pit cleaned out. I have a semi tanker trailer i can haul manure in. I do not have a way to incorporate the manure unto the soil. I do have a farm with very few neighbors where I can ground apply it on ground recently cleared of trees and brush. He will pump it into my trailer. Farm is in good order and is drivable on with a loaded semi when dry.

Are these worth doing? I have agreed to haul the cattle manure and see how we get along.
