Just recently bought a 2014 Western star with the Detroit DD 16 engine. First time Ive had an engine with DEF and the tank showed a couple bars of fluid left. I added in a couple of jugs and didn’t make it 2 miles down the road and engine derated with yellow light flashing on the DEF gauge.
