| I spent the afternoon with my nonfarming, retired brother-in-law. He has never run a business in his life. One of his best buddies is my older brother, who left farming 35 yrs. ago at the request of the banker. He lives three states away and works for an agricultural company. They talk often and know everything about how it should be done. So after an afternoon of consultation I am busting with helpful information. I now know what color machinery to rent, not own and should have my rented land, not owned land, custom farmed to really be profitable. Who knew that I had such a valuable resourse at my fingertips. Surely there are more priceless tips to be had just for the asking, well maybe I don't even have to ask. Man I love this country. | |
