Subject: proud mom doing just a little bragging

Greetings from Western Illinoishttp://www.connecttristates.com/sports/story.aspx?id=525219
Hope that harvest is going well for all of you! What a different harvest from a year ago!
Anyway, this isnt an ag post per se, just doing a little bit of proud mom and dad bragging. Our daughter Maissie is a freshman in high school and is one of only two freshmen playing on our varsity volleyball team. In her last game she had a fantastic kill, and made the news! The following link is that little news blurb. If you watch it, you have to watch the whole two minutes, as she is at the end, but they say her name and everything, and they say it correctly, which, trust me, never happens. Since we look at ag talk as a little family- or- maybe a big family, you like to tell your family about neat things that happen with your kids
For those of you who have never met our kids, and only a few of you have, Maissie is very tall, five foot eleven, and she is one of three freshmen girls who are that tall on the team! She is the tallest varsity player, and the only one with red hair, so on the link, she should be easy to catch!
Keep having a safe harvest, for many of you in Illinois and other places where corn was not so great---just thank the Lord for Crop Insurance!!
Erin
