Subject: New corn being develped for ethanol.

Lapel, In
Maybe this will shut up, the ethanol detractors. Researchers at U..of I. are developing a new type of corn that will produce 3 crops and use less Nitrogen than the commercial corn of today. Its a sugar corn that is comparable to the sugar cane of S.A.. Article in May 15, Indiana Agrinews. Sorry, I couldn't find it on the net.

I say as long as we have more corn than we can sell, what's the big deal about using corn for ethanol production ?
