 | Looking at a Great Plains 30 foot TT. It's under 1,000 acres and appears in great shape. I want to use it to prepare seedbeds (mainly smoothing and soil prep), and was wondering if it will also help fight erosion (in the same manner a chisel does, when things start blowing before spring planting). I have some very sandy ground as well as some tight land in a dryland wheat, milo, corn rotation. Just wondering if anyone had any experiences to relate. Would also be interested how it compares with a Landoll, Krause, or any of the other vertical tillage machines out there. Those have caught my eye, but not sure about putting out that kind of money. TIA. | |
