Nebraska | Calving season in full swing and they are coming fast and early this year. Ai’d a group of 100 cows and 35 heifers due date of April 8th and over 75% through with them. Heifers get fed and penned up next to the barn every night as I don’t have the energy to chase one around at 2am anymore that needs help lol. Cows are on their own out in the native range. Unloaded a group of last years calves on Tuesday at the sale barn. 6-7 weights, did well and thankful to be in business another year! Kept 65 heifers back as replacements to breed and maybe sell a few next year as breds. Happy Easter everyone!
