Western EC Iowa | Late this week the neighbor and I are going to pour a new driveway for me and sidewalk for both of us. I have poured quite a few grain bin slabs, but I was always the grunt, never the boss. The approach from the street and main drive will be about 8.5 yards as will the sidewalk, we are planning two pours. I guess the question is, what do I need to order for concrete? Approach and sidewalk before the main drive planning on 6 inches, the rest 4. Will the concrete co have a good rec or should I ask for something specific? Everything is pretty flat, probably a foot or a little better in 45 feet from the house to the street and the sidewalk will be basically flat. Thanks for any help. Ben | |
