Subject: New concave for Lexion

Red River Valley
It's time for us to replace the concave in our 585R. I am interested in replacing it with either a Sunnybrook or an HHS concave because I like the ability to change out the box sections to match the crop and conditions, both Sunnybrook and HHS now offer this as an option. We raise a little wheat, soybeans (many of them are natto and large seeded food grade, so splits and cracks are an issue to keep in check), and corn. Though we would probably be considered a 50/50 corn/soybeans operation.

Has anybody ran both or have a strong option one way or the other on which one they like?

I am also considering putting in a Sunnybrook cylinder as I also need to replace the current cylinder rasp bars. Has anybody had a bad experience with this cylinder? Almost everything I have read makes it seem as if this is the Cat's meow for the Lexion.

Thanks.
