There are memorial services Memorial Day and Veterans Day at the Chesapeake Beach Veterans Park each year. Always well attended and afterwards American Legion Post 206 serves a pretty good lunch. Some of the pics were actually taken at the Memorial Day service. There are bricks inscribed with names of area veterans in the courtyard. The two bricks pictured are for my dad and one for Evelyn's dad.
