Callao, Missouri | I sprayed this morning in tough wet hills with no problem. This afternoon on easier ground the machine would cut out as if running out of fuel when you needed more power. The fuel filter has been replaced and an electric fuel pump was added. Neither seem to have helped. I had thought that this problem got worse on a low tank of fuel, but this afternoon I filled it in the field after it started and that also had no effect. I can achieve the same results by squeezing the fuel hose with my pliers while running. The problem is worse while turning, and it seems that to the right will really do it. This is the peugot engine.
I have thought in the past that it might have a baffle broke in the fuel tank, letting it suck air when low on fuel while turning. That theory is shot since it did it this afternoon after the tank was filled.
I bet that if I wait about 30min- 1hr it will run flawless again.
Any ideas specific to this engine/pump?
