North west MN | Just wondering what AI is going to do in the real world? . They are building huge AI buildings buying sections of land to put them on needing massive amounts of electricity to run them.
Why all the space needed? Look at desktop computers used to be a a large box. I bought a new desktop last week and it was the size of a paperback book with more power and connections than ever.
What are they going to have in the AI buildings just computers or are they going to have people in there?
So far all I see that has come out of AI is photoshop pictures and videos and fake profiles on social media.
Dont get me wrong I really like the improvements in computers and programs that help me on the farm but what is AI going to do in the real world? I am interested and leary at the same time.
Will AI know when to unplug my disk and dig the mud out of my rolling baskets and do it for me?
Will AI replace a rear beater bearing on my combine?
Will we have robots weeding fields?
Will AI scout fields and give recommendations?
Im interested but like all technology on the farm it seems like there are times you need human hands and human reasoning to complete a task.
Anyone have a link on what goes on in those AI buildings and what the finished product will be? | |
