Are those little brick computers equal to a tower computer.  The one's I'm seeing have no fan, but have 32GB ram, and 1 terabyte SSD's.  They claim that they play games just fine.

I'm getting to the point that I may need to replace my Windows 7 computer due to browsers not running on it and some other upgrades not working on a Win7 system.  My other thought was maybe another laptop and just hooking a mouse, keyboard and monitor to that.

My Win7 computer only has 8GB of memory but I have been successful in editing videos, using CAD and Photoshop on it. So, a laptop with 16GB and a newer faster processor would probably be fine.
