NE WI | So the newer shaft seal kits have a snap ring and this older one did not. There is the drive hub then a ceramic piece on a brass bushing. Then a spring to a black seal that goes in a housing.
This pump just shows series 300. The other red pumps are FR300.

I don’t think this shaft seal kit will work without the snap ring.
