West Union, IOWA FLOLO Farm 52175 | As most of you know, we've had alot going on in our life and I've been having the reoccuring thoughts in my mind about walking away from farming if needed down the road.
What really drives/motivates me?
The $$$ side of the decision making process is gone right now, i don't really care if I make a buck or not.
It's still fun to run the mental gymnastics portion of the show...but the care just isn't their.
It started early on in the deal with Rolan,but I've got a few things that need to be done on the farm and I feel like I'm slipping,and loafing through it.....but it get's done.(Somebody asked about my decision to run all beans'09,would they cash flow??/I reponded that i never even penciled a bit of it...just it was simplier and the farm could run without me if needed)
All the post lately have been entertaining and informative,(planter size/BTO's) but it's raising a big question in My mind and there is no right or wrong answers just curious,
What is driving you?........as I'm taking off today to pick up the youngest daughter from Gma's in WI...and the sun is shining with work to do-- |
