California | I am currently going around asking farmers about their general input (regardless of location). I am not looking to sell or promote anything, but want to educate myself on your current farming practices (I am new to this space). Is reducing feed cost a priority for you? (Yes or No)
What are the most problematic gut bacteria that farmers are wanting to suppress? or already spending money on suppressing?
Are you more likely to spend on technology (feed type) that lowers your initial input costs (increases your margins) or a technology that has more long term benefits (lowers your inital margins)? (Choose one)
Do you use byproducts in your feed? (Examples are like tomato pomace, apple pomace, orange pumice) (Specify which byproduct is best for you)
How much do you approximately spend on protein per head? (Regardless of location)
Do you use ionophores? If so, how much do you pay and how effective is it?
