NEMO | We went to my wifes big family thanksgiving dinner last week and everyone there under the age of 40 was so busy texting and talking on their phones they could hardly find time to eat or converse with anyone who was actually at the dinner. Noticed a couple guys who were texting each other from across the room. I was trying to talk to one of them and he was so wrapped Up in the texting all he could do to answer me was grunt and nod his head once in a while.
Now I'm not saying these phones are a bad thing I just think it would be nice if they turned them off at family gatherings and such. | |
