I hit your link, and wanted to answer your question.............had to do it here (LoL)
I run two Martins (13") in an all no-till situation, and wouldn't go to the field with out them.
That said; a neighbor tried one 15" and a rubber and had trouble with the spike flipping seed back up. He wasn't happy...not sure if that was all the problem or not... as I wasn't there, all I got was word of mouth after the fact.
