southern MN | So, the Weather Channel is doing 'Vortex 2' this year, a big hubub about tornado chasing.
Last night they were talking about EF5 tornado, one person was 'oh how cool if the crew could find one of those' and so on.
Today they are lamenting the fact that there are so few tornadoes this spring, way way down from average numbers. One state averages 14 by now, and only have 2 so far. And so on.
In other words, their tornado show is a real wash-out - they haven't had anytthing to chase, no way to put allt heir spendy gadgets to use.......
But, it is people's lives, and people's property that they are talking about.
Seems kinda odd they would be cheering on for seeing more tornadoes? Strange. No one wants to be near an EF5 tornado - that is a major disastor. No one should be looking forward to seeing more of them, or want to be close to one. Those comments were just way out of place.
