Subject: Does keeping the US-Mex border closed...

Eastern NE KS
...to cattle trade make sense?

As predicted by some, closing did not prevent NWS from coming to Texas. Cattle trade was under inspection before closure. I think the animals were examined and prophylacticly treated with ivermectin at the border but this may be incorrect. I would like to know full truth about this detail. To my way of thinking it is very significant.

Another detail is how far the adult flies travel while mating and laying eggs. A third, do we know how much wildlife travel across the border. These things all set the logical or illogical reason for continuing the border closure to cattle.

The political or market reasons are significant too, especially to business folks. However, the reasons blow with the wind of each person with an opinion and a supportive argument.
