The phone number for verification was her husbands.  When he died she didn't keep the phone and has one of her own.

Trying to setup the account on her computer results in Google and their multi step verification process which in this case ONLY will send a text to the number she no longer has.    

On my Android phone there is are three horizontal bars, a search box, and a colored circle with my initial.  If I click on the colored circle it offers Google Account in a box, click on that and then click on Personal Info, scroll down and there's contact info, below is phone.

Her iphone isn't like that.  She can't find anyway to access Personal Info to change the verification phone number.

Anybody have a step by step method to change that verification number on an iphone?
