| I have no experience with snow fence in Southern Nebraska. Never get enough to justify but supposed to get pounded with snow this weekend.
I need to keep 1000’ feet of road clear that always drifts shut in case of emergency.
I have installed the (quest brand 4’ plastic) fence 110’ away on the north side parallel to the east west road. Followed the instructions for install.
I am nervous about the install distance. I’ve read many different opinions online saying it needs to be anywhere from 60-160 feet north of the road.
The package (which I read after the install of course) says to put it 60’ away from road. This is much less than anything I read online and have reached out to the company to ask but haven’t heard back.
Anyone with experience?
I absolutely don’t want to make the road drift worse.
