| Have a 1980 3788 where the 3 point hitch will settle about an inch per hour. Got a service manual for it and says clean or adjust poppet. Per book it appears that if you pull the panel off the back of the cab, there should be a plate into the transmission housing to access this.
Anyone have a cliff notes version of this that's easily understandable? Is a poppet valve a check valve?
I do acknowledge that a blown seal in the lift piston itself could be the problem. hoping to check everything else out first
