oregon | About 1983 I watched a demo tractor slowly pull the sled at the county fair until it spun out. Then go about 30 more feet with the front engaged. And yet the next year in 1984 we bought a 2wd 4050 and a 2wd 4250 new off the lot. I can't imagine all the slippage we had over the past 40 years. And around the late 90s, we bought a new 6410 2wd. One wet fall, after getting stuck numerous times in the beet field, we traded it in for a 6420 MFWD. Since then we have bought all MFWD. I suppose you can say we were slow learners.
