| Ever have "one of those days ?"
Went to cut some wood with the old 87 chevy 3/4 ton wood hauler truck. Falling a tree about a foot in diameter and got the saw pinched, (Of course). I could push on the tree and loosen the saw but couldn't push on tree and reach the saw.
My solution, chain the truck to tree, pull enough to loosen saw and go pull it out. Did I mention that it is snowing pretty hard today? Hook up chain, pull tight and than don't you know, foot slips off clutch and tree comes crashing down on roof of truck. Smashes BIG "V" in roof, what was left( another story) of rear sliding window shatters along with front windshield and rt hand mirror gone.
I decide that all the damage is done, so I cut for another hour before going home. Decide I better put old beater in shop to keep snow out. Pull in shop, hit skid steer bucket and slice rt front tire, flattening it.
Think I need a beer.
