NW IA | A friend and I were talking about differences in engines starting in colder weather. Now I am not a fan of cold starting engines at all, but once in a while during manure hauling, a tractor has to sit out and away from a power source. We have a wheel loader that will start at 10 degrees like nothing, and have a tractor that needs ether at 40 or 50 degrees. I am sure everyone has that one engine that starts harder, my question is what is the difference? Is it difference in compression, injectors, fuel system, etc? Thanks | |
