northern IL | How fast should it grind a 6x5 bale of stalks, grass hay, or alfalfa hay?
I ground a 1450 lb stalk bale and it took almost 15 minutes. Then a 1300 lb first cut staight alfalfa and it ground for at least 15 minutes and when I quit because nothing was coming out only to find a 400 lb core still in there.
I have a 3" screen in it and I had a 110 hp tractor on it that wasn't even barking .
Is there an adjustment somewhere that I can make it grind faster or is there any secrets to make this grab more hay ?
