On the news down under is the story of Canadians banning "Vegemite"

You gotta be crazy!

I am 80 years young, and have never known a time without Vegemite. It is a tangy spread for toast

Vegemite is the concentrated yeast extract that is a by-product of the fermentation process of wheat and barley being 'malted' for bread and beer.

I haven't looked into the reason for the 'ban' - but news is that markets are banned from selling the Aussy paste.

So -this Aussy's questions  -

Have you heard of "Vegemite"?
