A few weeks ago I chimed in on bean replant post with info on our attempts at double crop corn (6/24) and soybeans (7/1) after barley. A dairy in our area used to plant 100 or so acres of silage corn after feed grade barley, so we are hopeful it pans out. Here were my posts from 7/4. Followed by photos from today.
Note the corn image is blurry as it’s a screen shot from a drone video. It’s waist to armpit in height on me. <1.5” rain since corn was planted. Received about 1.5” early this morning.
