East Central Arkansas | That is a Troy Built Horse. I must have bought that thing twenty years ago at a auction U-Haul had at one of it's rental stores in Memphis. I am thinking I paid around $550 for it. We decided to try and make a garden again for the first time in several years so I got it out and got it going again. After new tires, belt , air filter and pull rope the old thing does pretty good. I did have to clean the carb and wash the gas tank out. I found a screw in the gas tank that had been causing gas flow problems. I have no idea how it got there. We have been enjoying squash , snap beans and okra so far. We have had some problems with some residual herbicide from last years soybean crop but I think mostly it was all the rain and cool weather. Now it looks like it might be the heat and dry. We do have a irrigation well by the garden but don't know how soon it will be turned on and if it stays hot and dry we will doing all we can to get the cotton crop watered.
