| I've been slowly picking my way through this series. Just wondering who has spent the long 8 hours and listened to the whole thing ( I started to one other time and ran short of interest). Also, if you did listen, what was the effect it had on you? Meaning did you take it as gospel truth, all lies and propaganda, interesting attempt to tell the history, go out and search for things to discredit or affirm claims made? I guess I personally take the author at his word, he is trying to give a general accounting of the history, even though accounts are not always in agreement, and help understand it in a way that takes into account the context of the times. | |
