West Central Illinois | I’ve had this model for several years , maybe model 07100, 18 inch probe with cord going to digital hand held reader, battery tests good but it is reading way low. Always store with battery removed, is there anyway to calibrate or has it went bad? I checked it in pitcher of hot water would only go to 85, even laying on kitchen counter all evening it shows 54,
If I need a new one what is a good brand to buy? I store round bales inside and after curing outside I like to probe some and check temp. Or it I feel a warm area I probe and spray and x on bale then leave outside until it cures out if it does, usually after 2 weeks all are ok. | |
