Got this in a e-mail from my BIL in OH,

I thought you might find this interesting. There is a road that cuts off from a
state highway and goes to a city park and a state park. The city park is on the
south side of the road and the state park is on the north side. A bicyclist
noticed that the spped zone signs seemed confusing. They seemed to indicate that
the speed limit was 35 heading East, but 55 if you were heading West. He wrote
to the county engineer to make him aware of the problem. The engineer's response
is at the end. It's things like this that make you shake your head and keep
people like Jay Lenno & David Letterman supplied with material.
