my cheap tasco 3x9x40 scope on my 270 went to crap last saturday. The cross hairs are now at the 2 oclock position and sometimes when you pull up its a little hazy probably from bouncing around in the steiger. I have a Bushnell 4x16x40 wide angle on my 30-06 that I bought this fall but have not been impressed with the view. Its to concentrated when you pull up, the tasco had a wider view than the bushnell in my opinion. That is what im looking for is something with wide view that is clear and will draw in more light when it gets close to dark. Dad says they make something called a tv view scope, is that so? I cant seem to find on the net what he is talking about.
