Freedom, WI | We just got back from looking at an 8110 and I was wondering what are your opinions on this tractor? It has 5 hours on an engine rebuild. Is a tractor with a rebuild less likely to throw a piston than one without? It only has the big 1000 shaft and we would want to run at least the snowblower which only has the 540 shaft. How much hp would you be able to put through the 540 shaft? I can lug our 4440 down in some deep snow and I am pretty sure that does about 140 hp, this one does 186. The 3pt doesn't go down because the guy selling it had it for baling and never had to use it. Will just a bucket be able to push it down or would the seals have to be rebuilt? The wheels would get moved in so we could put duals on. Other than a few things, I really like the tractor. He wants 85,000 for it. Is that a good price? It has 4200 hours on it.
